Why this name?
Near the domain’s vineyards, there is an old Chateau. In the past, the late lord of this castle called the common people “canailles”. This name is an homage to those who were considered low class.
How was this cuvée born?
This cuvée changes every year, depending on the volume of the harvest and the millesime (dry year, wet year…).
The cépages are fermented separately, and the blending is made just before bottling.
