Grape: Grenache blanc and grenache gris
4 years old vines.
Direct pressed with grapes unstemmed.
Short maceration in amphore, and then in stainless steel tanks until bottling.
Slightly oxidative and iodized.
The name of the cuvee comes from the Catalunya bird “stone curlew”, which has large yellow eyes and is hard to see because of its perfect camouflage. But he is easy to hear because of its scandalous singing!

Les Salicaires is a family estate in Canet en Roussillon, that Vincent inherited in 2016.
The whole domain is conducted in organic agriculture.
Being very close to the Mediterranean sea (1km), the vines take advantage of the sea spray which gives a minerality to both whites and reds.
