Les Clos d’Elis / Tel quel 2019

100% Cinsault
A light and fruity, easy to drink red.
Cinsault, one of the historical south of France varieties, was traditionally used to make rosé in the Languedoc, as it has big, juicy grapes.
It has an image of light juices with few tannins, which is actually really interesting when you work it as a red like Elisabeth does.

Why this name?
This wine was really good as it is, didn’t need much care, grew up on his own during winter. Because it was simply good, Elisabeth didn’t blend it with other grapes.
That is why its name is “Tel Quel” (meaning “as it is” in French).

How was this cuvée born?
This is the most recent cuvée of Elisabeth, she only started producing it a couple years ago.
