Why this name?
Et caetera, a latin expression which means “and so on”.
For this cuvée, the story goes on each year, as those grenaches are from 50 years old vine trees.
How was this cuvée born?
As they are old trees, these Grenache have a low productivity. A soft care is given, especially when pruning. The producers, Julie and Christophe, love this vineyard dearly.
Half of the grapes were macerated in oak barrels, and the other half in stainless steel tanks, which gives the wine roundness and minerality.
