Why this name?
It’s the name of the last Lord of Arpaillargues (the little town where the vineyards are located), Baltazar de Bargeton.
How was this cuvée born?
There is silica into the soil of the vineyard, which gives aromas of passion fruit and mango to this cuvée. Julie and Christophe were really surprised by the taste the silica gives to the Grenache grapes. Because of its special properties, they decided to vinify the grenache alone with a gentle extraction process.
